Student Agreement

Before we begin

A short agreement so we both know how this works and what we each expect. Please read it and confirm at the bottom before your first paid piece of work.

This agreement sits alongside my Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. By confirming it, you accept all three.

1. What I will do

I will give you honest, specific feedback on your IELTS writing and speaking, based on the official band descriptors. I will return work within the stated turnaround, keep your sessions focused, and tell you the truth about your level and what it will take to improve.

2. What I ask of you

That the work you send is your own. That you have sat a real IELTS exam, or a full mock test, so we have a real starting point. That you give sessions your attention and do the agreed practice between them. Progress depends on your effort as much as my input.

3. Academic integrity (important)

I am a coach, not a ghostwriter. I help you improve your own English so you can perform honestly on test day. I will not write essays, answers, or assignments for you to submit as your own work in an exam, a university course, or an immigration process. I will not take a test on your behalf or help anyone cheat or impersonate a candidate. If you ask me to do any of these, I will decline and may end our arrangement without a refund for work already begun.

4. No guarantee of a band

I cannot promise you a particular band. Your result depends on your starting level, your effort, and the test on the day. Any estimate I give is my professional opinion to guide you, not the official result.

5. Payment, refunds, and packs

Payment confirms your order. You can have a full refund if you cancel before I start the work; once marking or a session has begun, payment is non-refundable. Packs are valid for 6 months from purchase. Full details are in the Terms & Conditions.

6. Your data and consent

To coach you, I need to hold your contact details and the work you send me. I use it only to provide the service, I keep it secure, and I never sell or share it for marketing. You can ask to see or delete your data at any time. This is set out in full in the Privacy Policy.

7. Using your work as an example (optional)

Sometimes an anonymised extract of student work makes a helpful teaching example. I will only ever do this with your separate, explicit consent, with your name and identifying details removed, and you can say no with no effect on your coaching. The checkbox below is optional.
